Starting this 31st of August, Mumbai is preparing for the 10-day celebrations and we can only imagine how grander this is going to get! While people rush in, in huge numbers to pandals to get a glimpse of the majestic Bappa idols and seek His blessings, many also welcome home Bappa and worship Him in these 10 days till September 9th. Devotees take home the deity for 1.5, 3, 5, 7 or 10 days followed by a huge procession on the last day for immersion in water - also called as Visarjan.
